wanting to make Vegan cheesecake, anyone knows how?

I owuld like to make vegan cheesecake. I am looking for recipies. ALso

which cheese (vegan) is best for it?

I am not to crazy for the taste of toffutti. DO you know any othere

cheese that would taste similar to the real cheese? Where could I buy

one?

I have never tried to make vegan cheesecake, but I love the Tofutti Better Than

Cream Cheese.--IMO is better tasting than the dairy cr. cheese, but since it

doesn't have that sour taste that the dairy version has, you may want to add a

teasp. (or more) of lemon juice to your recipe... I buy Better Than Cream Cheese

at Trader Joes for $1.99, for 8 oz...Some larger grocery stores sell it too, in

their vegetarian or healthfood section, but it usually is more expensive in the

regular grocery stores I have found....One of my favorite healthy snacks is to

spread some BTCream Cheese on a brown rice cake,--It tastes yummy and it is very

filling...I also love to spread BT cream cheese on Wheat Thins and put a dab

Trader Joes Apple-Cranberry Chutney on top.--UMMMM,--this is so good it's hard

to stop eating them though!
