Danny I know how you feel (Burrrrr). I moved from Launna Hills, CA (about 2 hours drive N of San Diego) in 1999. I am still not use to the cold icy winds here in the Pacific North West, and all of the rain, rain and more rain,--but I guess it's nothing compared to some of the colder climates. It depends what you mean by wintery - being a coastal city we don't get a lot of snow, although we get a fair amount of rain and winds that come straight from Siberia. [town, city, state, county, country, whatever you want to share] East San Francisco Bay area (land part, not water part)/Tri-Valley area / Dublin Random fun: 3. Where you live what month of the year does it start to feel really wintry outside? Really wintry? Maybe never, maybe November. If you count snow as wintry, never. We get snow up on the hill tops but never (okay, not as long as I've lived here) at lower elevations. We do have some frosts November through February though, sometimes a little earlier, sometimes a little later. We get rain (hopefully) beginning in October and going through March or maybe April.
