I hope its not off topic. If it is I'm sorry and it won't happen again.

My new vegetarian blog is up and running. I am blogging most of the recipies

I cook with pics. I am new to being a full veg (under a year) and I decided

it would be fun to blog it all as I stumble along. I am married to an omni

so that makes it all the more interesting to find recipies he will enjoy.

(He's in the Navy so he will eat just about anything, liking it is another

matter;-)

I really enjoyed seeing the pictures looks delish! how do you photo

graph the food? Whenever I try it does not do the meals justice. Do

you have all the recipes listed somewhere and I missed them? Once

again VERY enjoyable.

Hi Julie!

Thanks for checking out my blog! I am posting the recipies as I get a

chance. Please check back often.

The photography, wow, thanks for asking! I have a digital SLR by Sony. I

adore that thing. It even makes me look good;-) lol.

I try to photograph the food in natural light whenever possible. If I do

need to use a flash I " bounce " it off the ceiling (providing it's white. We

don't want green tofu showing up " If you are using a point and shoot digital

camera you will be able to find tutorials online to make your own flash

bouncer. It basically softens the light. Also a very in expesive light box

can work wonders. I use it to photograph those late night baking sessions.

Here is a link to a similiar unit

f_rd_p=250314001 & pf_rd_i=B000JC3NOY.

It works very well! and last but not least I cannot stress the use of a

tripod. Even the least expensive digital camera will have a timer setting.

Simply line the shot up on the tripod and set the timer to take the picture.

(this elimates the blurry picture from camera shake in low light settings.)

A low light or night setting is on most cameras as well just make sure the

flash is off And let the camera do the rest. Mind you there still needs to

be enough light to take the picture. So no pics during a blackout at

midnight. But in a kitchen with lighting that isn't so great it should help

a ton.

I hope that helps. I think one day soon I will have to post a tutorial with

pictures.

Please post comments on any of the recipies you try so I know how they come

out!!

Thanks again!

Hope you keep coming back!
