Guest guest
Hi Kathryn, Welcome to the group. Thanks for posting an introduction. My 7 year old son is a vegetarian too. What does your son like to eat? I'm looking forward to your posts. Guest guest
Hi Susie I wish I could say I was more creative with my son's lunches. Not that I don't have the ideas, he's just doesn't want what I want to make him!!! He always takes hummus sandwiches or wraps. Sometimes with shredded carrots. Of course he always wants good old peanut butter and jelly, too. Sometimes he'll eat different things in wraps, like refried beans and soy cheese. Most of the time he just wants raw carrots and fruit. And I suppose I should be happy for that, but I just feel that I would be bored with it. At home he eats almost anything I eat, but I think his favorites are tacos, spaghetti with eggplant and soy chocolate ice cream. ) Kathryn
Guest guest
Sounds good to me, but is he getting any greens in his diet? I didn't get to watch the entire segment but it looked really really good with ideas on getting your kids to eat their healthier foods. Here is a link to that part of the show, I plan on watching the video this weekend when I go over to my sister;s house as she has dsl and I am still using the dinosaur known as dial-up. Her cookbook looks interesting enough that I may just have to break down and buy it., ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
