My ex-step son has been fighting the fires since they

started, he's stationed in the Malibu area. I work

between the north and south fires, eyes burn, throat

is sore and ashes all around. I'm safe so I'm not

complaining, 2 people I know have lost their homes.

Thanks Deanna.

Paul,

Please stay indoors if you can. Wear a mask and make sure you wash

out your eyes often. I am so sorry that you are going through this .

You continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

They had a video on CNN News of a guy's house burning down, and he was

telling about it. Very sad.

I am so thankful that mandatory evacuations and even in other areas that

don't have evacuations orders yet, that folks are leaving. The death toll

and rescues needed could be as high as some of our hurricanes down here in

the southeast, had you not. This all reminds me so much of what we face

when we have hurricanes here, no power, no water, no gas, loosing everything

one owns, homes destroyed, neighborhoods forever gone and changed, animals

to try to figure out what to do with when going in to shelters, roads

closed, infrastructures destroyed, major cleanups, heartache for your loss,

but what you are also dealing with is the continual horror of the fires

spreading and the terrible breathing conditions from all the thick smoke and

ash everywhere with blackend landscapes for years to come. Even when homes

aren't destroyed, the smoke damage to everything in your home will be great.

A million people evacuated. Wow, nothing else compares to what you guys are

experiencing. I know the hurt is deep.

My hearts and prayers are going out to all of you. We care about what is

happening to all of you. Let us know what we can do to help.
