lard-free cornbread mixes; was: Real Fast Mexican Casserole

You might be thinking of Krusteaz, Donna.

That is a popuar name brand of quick mixes around here.

 

I can't remember the name of this one, but I found lard-free

quick cornbread mixes right next to the Jiffy mixes in the

Walmart here in town. You just have to carefully read the labels.

I was so glad that they were as convenient and inexpensive

as the Jiffy mix; same size too so it was easy ~ no recipe conversions.

The Krusteaz is good and the brownies are wonderful. i found these when i had to

start eating lowfat.
