Rosemary Christmas Trees

During the Christmas season each year, Lowe's carries Rosemary that has been

trimmed into the shape of a small Christmas tree. We picked up two this

year and they are so fragrant with a nice evergreen scent. We put them on

the hearth of our fireplace and the room smells like we have a fresh

evergreen Christmas tree. After Christmas I am going to plant them in pots

on my patio, as mine that I have had for 5 years finally bite the dust. In

mild winters they last outside for years. I've had mine on the patio the

entire 5 years and it has done well. It has been wonderful to have it at my

finger tips, anytime I needed it for cooking or baking.

I got one of those at a farmers' market a couple years back. It's getting

*big*--that's how my wife got tired of my adding rosemary to *everything* a few

months back. :-) I even put some small ornaments on it this year! Definitely

a wonderful addition to any home.

Blessed be,

I got one of these as a gift and let it 'go natural' or back to it's natural

shape. I love it. You can use up a bunch of it by steeping it in oil of your

choice and rubbing it on your head (or someone else's head LOL) for hair growth!

Seriously! I've had some great results with people losing hair. Give it as a

gift, too. Maybe use an oil that washes out more easily. I remember when I was a

kid I tried Mayonnaise as a conditioner when I heard of it. It just wouldn't

wash out! Later that day a friend invited me to the movies and when I got there

he had also invited a bunch of people I had never met. I had a scarf on so no

one could tell and this one girl just kept saying " Do you smell a Ceasar Salad?

Does anyone smell a Ceasar Salad? " rrrrr Try Jojoba oil. In fact, maybe someone

out there has the oil for us!
