Guest guest
WOW, that was an incredible article. It is good to see that our ecological impact on the earth is less than a carnivore's. Thanks for the link. Jeanne in GA Twilight-Mist wrote: (Forwarded by Tia) -------------- Forwarded Message: -------------- Can Peanut Butter and Jelly Save the World? Guest guest
This is so fantastic! I love the idea of the PB & J Campaign--something that puts a friendly, reassuring face on vegetarianism and makes it look doable. Of course, we know it *is*, but some resources can be strident and/or intimidating. Intelligently lays out good reasons to at least cut out some, if not entirely eliminate, meat as well. Guest guest
I agree Jayelle, This is a great way to get people thinking about going veggie, at least in part...I am the only vegetarian in my family (I'm vegan for the most part). I have never tried to push my lifestyle on family members or friends, because I know they would get defensive...But I have made it clear to everyone, that *I* don't eat meat, because it hurts me too much to think of animals having to live their entire lives in confinement and misery,-- just so I could eat them for dinner one night.
