Guest guest
I like them thawed or you can steam them for a few minutes. I suggest you eat a few thawed and see what you think of them. How is your weather? Donna Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile glpveg4life Sun, 23 Mar 2008 14:07:24 Re: Edamame Question HI Donna: Thank you. The package has cooking instructions however does not say anything about eating them uncooked. Happy Easter Gayle **************Create a Home Theater Like the Pros. Watch the video on AOL Home. Guest guest
HI Donna: The weather is not to bad here, although it is still coat or jacket weather, we have been pretty lucky this winter very little snow. How is your weather? Hope you are having a nice Easter. Gayle **************Create a Home Theater Like the Pros. Watch the video on AOL Home. Guest guest
Gayle, You should drop the frozen edamame into boiling water and heat briefly. Then quickly remove and plunge into ice water to prevent it from becoming mushy. I don't think you can eat uncooked edamame but my suspicion is that many manufacturers cook the product thoroughly before packaging so you may be okay anyway. But never hurts to be safe! Guest guest
Abbey: Thank you, I ended up running hot water over them. The salad was ok, I think I need to add some more Mrs Dash to it and then it will be just right. Gayle **************Create a Home Theater Like the Pros. Watch the video on AOL Home.
