Guest guest
Thanks for the suggestions, I am one of the poor vegetarian souls who are soy sensitive, I get migraines when I have much soy. I can have soy things very rarely, bummer, so even though I adore soy milk, I limit it to like twice a week, but I will try that brand, right now I drink 8th continent. I love the morningstar farms buffalo wing things, so when I do have a soy thing, it is usually that. I love edamame. I do take a supplement 10000mcg, and that is a massive amount, my nuerologist put me on it, but for some reason, I am not holding it...I will try pollen, I hate bananas unless dunked in chocolate, but if I have to, well then shucks, I just have to dunk em! Thanks again! Johnna Lisamarie Dean <antcheek Friday, May 2, 2008 3:56:13 PM Re: Re: [QOTW] What prompted you to choose becoming a vegetarian? Hi Johnna: If I may make a suggestion have you tried the Silk soymilks? They have 50% of the RDA for B12 and some come fortified with calcium and they now even have a new blend with Omega's. You can also get B12 from green leafy vegetables, yogurt(preferably soy), soybeans(edamame is good), sunflower seeds, kelp, bananas, and pollen. As for doctors, is still gets me how little some of them know about nutrition, and still stumps me that they get almost NO training in it when they are in med school!
