Guest guest
I like to cook my Ramen noodles without the flavor packet, adding English peas in during the 3 min cook time. After I drain the noodles and peas, I add some fake butter and the flavor packet. I had a little of this left over from the other day so I mixed in a can of chili, heated it up, and boy was it delish! Bev ~ PT ~ <patchouli_troll wrote: What did everyone have for lunch today? Guest guest
I had a lentil loaf sandwich, it was an experiment that did not turn out so good. It wasn't so awful that I need to through it out however I will not make it again, and my daughter will not eat it again. Gayle **************Wondering what's for Dinner Tonight? Guest guest
Which lentil loaf recipe was it? I see we have 5 of them in our recipe files. Was it that the loaf wasn't good or that it wasn't tasty made into a sandwich? ~ PT ~ Don't ask yourself what the world needs; ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go and do that. Guest guest
It was none of the recipes in the files, it really needed more flavor it wasn't bad cold in a sandwich with plenty of Ketchup and Mustard. My daughter and I were trying to come up with a recipe for lentil potato burgers, last week we made the red bean and spinach burgers they came out really good. Guest guest
make sure you read the ingrediant list for the flavor packets for ramen...most of them have meat in them...ive only ever found one that doesnt have a meat product in it, and that was an oriental, and it was in one of the two brands that make ramen-like noodle soups...mary , Beverly Gardner <bvgardner wrote: > > I like to cook my Ramen noodles without the flavor packet, adding English peas in during the 3 min cook time. Guest guest
Well, considering we are night owls and sleep late, my lunch was actually breakfast. I had oatmeal, a slice of toast and a handful of blackberries, washed down with some Irish tea and honey.
