Guest guest
Has anyone who still eats meat or chicken tried the " beefish " bits or " chickenish " bits from Harmony House? & nbsp; I am getting more stuff for long term storage and will be feeding carnivores as well as vegetarians and the beefish and chickenish tvp products are a lot cheaper and last a lot longer over the long term than dried meat does. & nbsp; thanks, jeanne
Guest guest
I haven't yet, but it sure looks good. I had to google for the link since I had never heard of them before. Hope someone here knows if they are tasty. http://www.harmonyhousefoods.com/TVP-Meat-Substitute_c_6.html ~ PT ~ , treazure noname <treazured wrote: > > Has anyone who still eats meat or chicken tried the " beefish " bits or " chickenish " bits from Harmony House? & nbsp; I am getting more stuff for long term storage and will be feeding carnivores as well as vegetarians and the beefish and chickenish tvp products are a lot cheaper and last a lot longer over the long term than dried meat does. & nbsp; thanks, jeanne
Guest guest
I have used the chicken chunks, they are very good, but haven't used the TVP to my knowledge. This place has great dehydrated veggies, we love the peppers*red and green* onions, cabbage, Use them in soups, etc. They also have great soup mixes. They ship fast in our experience! I could spend mega bucks there LOL. Thanks, Becky ---- ~ PT ~ 5/31/2008 11:56:57 BECKY Re: has anyone tried this brand of tvp? I haven't yet, but it sure looks good. Guest guest
I use the hamish TVP fake ham crumbles in beans and it is good. & nbsp; Hoping to find a TVP that the carnivores will eat. & nbsp; Maybe I should show them the cost comparison of freeze dried meat versus TVP. Not even going to go on how much more healthy the TVP is versus flesh. & nbsp; After all, when is the last time you heard of Mad Bean disease? Vicious vegetables? Boisterous broccoli? Green beans bombing schools? I'll just order a little and see if I can sneak it into the grandson like I did with the taco flavor beefish stuff. jeanne, the phantom veggie pusher --- On Sat, 5/31/08, ~ PT ~ & lt;patchouli_troll & gt; wrote: ~ PT ~ & lt;patchouli_troll & gt; Re: has anyone tried this brand of tvp?
