Guest guest
Just wanted to say hi <waves> to Leslie, Ellen, and anyone else here who's close enough to the city of Atlanta that you tell people you live in Atlanta so they'll understand that you're not living in a barn with Bubba amidst the cows (or whatever other images folks conjure up if you just say " Georgia " ha! I live in Alpharetta. kim
Guest guest
Hi Kim, I am actually a NY transplant, but I've lived here for over 20 years and you couldn't drag me back (except to visit). I love it here. When we first moved, people thought we were crazy. I don't think people realise what a cosmopolitan city Atlanta is. - Just wanted to say hi <waves> to Leslie, Ellen, and anyone else here who's close enough to the city of Atlanta that you tell people you live in Atlanta so they'll understand that you're not living in a barn with Bubba amidst the cows (or whatever other images folks conjure up if you just say " Georgia " ha! Guest guest
Hi Kim, I live in Powder Springs and have lived here for 40 years, in Atlanta for 5 years and in middle Georgia for 12 years. I love it most of the time, but the heat and the extreme cold gets to me now. Guest guest
My best friend moved to Atlanta about 9 years ago. She first moved to Smyrna and now she lives in Powder Springs as well. She loves it and refuses to come back to Cincinnati. She keeps trying to get me down there. But I am a northern girl for sure. I like a bit of a cooler temp. I could so live in Canada, Maine, or Washington state easily! LOL -Gypsy Re: Metro Atlanta Posted by: " Carol Meek " crossstitchnut <http://profiles./crossstitchnut> crossstitchnut Mon Jul 7, 2008 10:30 pm (PDT) Hi Kim, I live in Powder Springs and have lived here for 40 years, in Atlanta for 5 years and in middle Georgia for 12 years.
