Guest guest Posted November 1, 2008 Report Share Posted November 1, 2008 I think it depends on the particular pressure cooker, particularly the amount of space at the top, between the water level and the safety valve. The instructions that came with my pressure cooker specifically stated that it could be used with beans but only if filled no higher than the lower of the two " maximum fill " line marked inside. I do know several of our members here have shared pressure cooker recipes. Have you looked in our files yet? Try the Specialty Appliance Recipes folder in there.
