Guest guest
Hi, Erin, My sugar levels were much higher when I was eating SAD. I was borderline diabetic when I started eating raw. My levels are more stable now throughout the day since I have been following 80/10/10rv. I don't have the " highs " and " lows " I used to and I feel, look and smell much better. The last time I had my glucose checked was Dec. 15 and you can see the results here>> http://tinyurl.com/2e39cg. That's after being 100% raw vegan for almost 18 months. You won't know for yourself until you try it! Good luck, Tommie http://reallyrawfood.com/forum Re: Hello Posted by: " Erin " truepatriot cronzen Fri Mar 9, 2007 4:10 pm (PST) I agree, the 80/10/10 theory looks very easy to implement. I wonder, though, whether your increased energy is simply a sugar rush. Have you checked your blood glucose levels while on this plan? Guest guest
My daughter loves raw potatoes. They're an old folk remedy for stomach aches too. Personally I don't find them appealing! I peel them for her. Sharon Be smarter than spam. See how smart SpamGuard is at giving junk email the boot with the All-new Mail
Guest guest
I have been eating raw until dinner for like close to 2 weeks now. I'm a Level 4 as well however I haven't been following the diet to the letter at dinner. I still eat a salad but I know that if I try to buy what she recommends for entrees then it will stretch my budget a bit. I'm a month away from being out of credit card debt forever and I really don't want to interfere with that right now. Anyway, in the very beginning it wasn't too difficult to eat raw all day while at work but now it's starting to wear on me because I'm starting to notice that I'm hungry a lot. I just try to focus on how I'm letting my food digest for a while before I put any more food into my stomach. It's not that bad however and I'm noticing how it doesn't take a lot for me to get full even though I'm usually starving for dinner by the time I get off work. I think it's a good idea to read into her other book too about life force energy or whatever because she provides more ideas. Best wishes and please let us know how the diet works for you in the upcoming weeks. Don't give up!
Guest guest
Thanks Audrey for the good idea on saving the more difficult recipes for the weekends. I just never thought of it that way. This group is sooooo beneficial to me right now and I'm starting to see that everyday:) Potential
