Guest guest
OK, I'm currently trying to follow as best as I can the RAW FOOD DETOX DIET by Natalia Rose. As much as I am digging her I can't completely agree with her view on colonics. I would like to use a more natural approach to cleanse my colon like the INTERNAL SALT WATER BATHING that is described in Stanley Burroughs book, THE MASTER CLEANSER... Has anyone ever tried this method of colon cleansing? Is it important that I fast before I actually do it? ANY info you have about this INTERNAL SALT WATER BATHING thing will be a big help. Thanks in advance. Potential
Guest guest
Not sure about the salt water bathing that Stanley Burroughs referred too, altough I am curious about it, but I have tried a drinking salk water to cause cleansing bowel movements, and honestly, I would do a colonic over that any day. I don't know if what I did is what Burroughs referred to as internal salt bathing, but I found it to be rather hard on my system. That is A LOT of salt going through your body at once, and it can put some strain on other organs from what I understand. That is partially why it works to begin with (the effect is sim. to diuretic pills). As far far as colonics go, I found a very professional place that was very gentle. They were highly certified to do what they were doing, and the flow of water was very gentle, and they were very good at monitoring just how much should be done. Just my 2 cents. Another neat thing I enjoy for cleansing is taking Herbal Fiber Blend. That is what I am doing right now. Not the same as a colonic, but it is still pretty amazing. -Amber - potential917 <adean_1 Tuesday, March 27, 2007 11:10 am [Raw Food] Internal Salt Water Bathing rawfood > OK, > I'm currently trying to follow as best as I can the RAW FOOD DETOX > DIET by Natalia Rose. Guest guest
Hi Potential, It is not necessary to fast before taking the salt water flush. It is important that it must be done in the morning on an empty stomach. You must allow yourself time for several bowel movements which will occur. It's a good idea to use " Smooth Move " herbal tea before bedtime to help loosen the stool from the intestinal walls. I have been doing this since I've started eating raw. I don't do it everyday, but I do it at least twice a week. I am also following Natalia Rose's book. I am not in to enemas or any of the other colonics. I hoe this helps. Blessed be, Tuliza rawfood , " potential917 " <adean_1 wrote: > > OK, > I'm currently trying to follow as best as I can the RAW FOOD DETOX > DIET by Natalia Rose. Guest guest
I tried colonics also. I had three treatments and it was not bad at all. Afterwards I lost eight pounds, no longer felt bloated and it helped me feel better overall amber.baker1 wrote: Not sure about the salt water bathing that Stanley Burroughs referred too, altough I am curious about it, but I have tried a drinking salk water to cause cleansing bowel movements, and honestly, I would do a colonic over that any day. Guest guest
I swear by the salt water flushes, if it wasn't for the flushes I would be in a bad place for sure! They helped me with my detox a great deal. F1 Terry Bakhtiari <pablobully wrote: I tried colonics also. I had three treatments and it was not bad at all. Guest guest
Exactly I had a similar experience with colonics too as you did. I have never heard of any bad effects of colonics done in a professional setting, has anyone? Just curious. Guest guest
Here is a link I found that will explain the sea salt water flush. I think it's great. It worked for me. Guest guest
One more bit of information regarding the sea salt water flush. You must follow the measurements exactly. DO NOT USE TABLE SALT/ IODIZED SALT. The flush must be done in the morning on an empty stomach. Allow yourself time for several bowel movements.so you may have to get up earlier in the morning to go through the whole process. http://www.angelfire.com/home/healthcoachNYC/seasalt.html I hope this helps, Tuliza rawfood , " tulizamakini " <tuliza wrote: > > Here is a link I found that will explain the > sea salt water flush.
