How to avoid overeating Nuts/Seeds?

Hello,

 

I am having a terrible time after I stopped eating sprouted buckwheat

grains (with raisins). I guess I was getting lot of carbohydrate

(energy) from buckwheat before. Recently I decided to stay away from

grains and now I can't stop myself from eating too many nuts (Almonds

- a cups or two everyday). I know that I shouldn't be eating too much

saturated fat. No matter how much fruit/veggies I eat I am still

craving for nuts. The Avacados are not doing it for me. May be I

should eat lot of bananas? or some other starchy food? Any other ideas?

 

Can you share your experiences with regards to reducing the amount of

nuts and seeds in your diet.
