Guest guest
With all that coconut oil, does this end up tasting like a coconut cheesecake? Or maybe a lemon cheesecake, with all that lemon juice? Not that either of these results would be objectionable. Just wondering. Guest guest
No, expeller pressed coconut oil does NOT taste like anything, which is why I used it, but I'm told even regular coconut oil (Extra virgin) does not make it coconutty. And the lemon makes it sour, not lemony! It tastes like cheesecake, which is tangy. Everybody is still raving... Guest guest
Hi Erica, The coconut oil that I have tried (nonrefined, expeller pressed) did taste a lot like coconut to me. But I liked it. , Marjorie rawfood , School Of Rawk <schoolofrawk wrote: > > No, expeller pressed coconut oil does NOT taste like anything, which is why I used it, but I'm told even regular coconut oil (Extra virgin) does not make it coconutty. Guest guest
Should work fine in the recipe. I'm making it with a good extra virgin recipe this weekend, so we shall see! My expeller pressed does not taste coconutty, though. I get Tropical Traditions: www.tropicaltraditions.com

Guest guest
HILARIOUS: I made it for a customer with extra virgin and while I'd still eat it, I CAN TOTALLY *TELL* THE DIFFERENCE! I'll eat EVCO, but I don't like it! lol
