I have the book by carol alt.

Its a good book, easy to read, but she does eat a lot of fish--(just thought I

would put that in there!)

Her book is actually the first raw food book I read, and her ideas got me

started, and I have branched out from there.

Her book does have recipes, and one reciepe she makes that I loved was a

chocolate mouse.

(its made with avacodes, so if you are avoiding fats.......)

But I made it during " that time of the month " when my chocolate cravings where

high....

Its made with carob or cacao powder and avacoadoes, and its really yummy!

She does have a great book, although not everything in it is 100% raw...but its

close!

Peace!

I just read the same book. I found it at my local

library and wrote down some of her recipes before

returning it. She does consume raw meat and animal

products, but I avoided those recipes. The mousse

recipe is one I copied. I haven't tried it, but I

wanted to have it on hand in case I got a craving for

chocolate. It really was a great book!
