Guest guest
I have the book by carol alt. Its a good book, easy to read, but she does eat a lot of fish--(just thought I would put that in there!) Her book is actually the first raw food book I read, and her ideas got me started, and I have branched out from there. Her book does have recipes, and one reciepe she makes that I loved was a chocolate mouse. (its made with avacodes, so if you are avoiding fats.......) But I made it during " that time of the month " when my chocolate cravings where high.... Its made with carob or cacao powder and avacoadoes, and its really yummy! She does have a great book, although not everything in it is 100% raw...but its close! Peace! shebassong <shebassong wrote: > > Is anyone familiar with the Raw life by Paul Nison or 90/10 by Joy Bauer, Eating in the Raw by Carol Alt? Be a better Heartthrob. Guest guest
I just read the same book. I found it at my local library and wrote down some of her recipes before returning it. She does consume raw meat and animal products, but I avoided those recipes. The mousse recipe is one I copied. I haven't tried it, but I wanted to have it on hand in case I got a craving for chocolate. It really was a great book! ~Sarah --- Dobby the house elf <dobeythehouseelf wrote: > I have the book by carol alt. > > Its a good book, easy to read, but she does eat a > lot of fish--(just thought I would put that in > there!) > > Her book is actually the first raw food book I read, > and her ideas got me started, and I have branched > out from there. > > Her book does have recipes, and one reciepe she > makes that I loved was a chocolate mouse. > > (its made with avacodes, so if you are avoiding > fats.......) > But I made it during " that time of the month " when > my chocolate cravings where high.... > > Its made with carob or cacao powder and avacoadoes, > and its really yummy! > > She does have a great book, although not everything > in it is 100% raw...but its close! > > Peace! > > > shebassong <shebassong wrote: > > > > Is anyone > familiar with the Raw life by Paul Nison or 90/10 > by Joy Bauer, Eating > in the Raw by Carol Alt? > > > Be a better Heartthrob.
