Guest guest
For me the term " uneducated " doesn't always have to be a negative one or an insult. It is a statement of fact (in my case). It is/was a fact that I was uneducated back then. I did not have access to the materials and/or resources back then. It is not a " put down " It is just for me a fact of my life back then. I am not always going to say what is " politically correct " in describing what I feel. If a person is " uneducated " in something it doesn't mean anything other than they have not gained the education in this, that or what ever. For what ever reason. I don't feel badly for that which I don't know. I would, however, feel badly, if the information was out there and I made a choice not to take it. I am empowered by those that do know, to take and learn all that I can. I WAS uneducated back then. Respectfully, Jeannie your time is the most cherished gift of all, tomorrow is promised to no one. " potato " <potato rawfood Sunday, May 20, 2007 8:56:12 PM [Raw Food] Un-educated We can all look back on what we have done and then say I wish I had known that years ago and done differently. I know I for one could and it does not mean we were un-educated either. I stoped school to work in my dads fields when I was 14. When you want to learn you will but if you don't know what it is you won't want to learn more. I will try to explain. Like with me I knew about herbs but at first only did what others told me and then my husband got sick and we started to read more and more on them and use them and he lived for 10 yrs. when the dr said less then 6mo. since then I was doing some reading and learned about raw food and now I'm reading more and more. I'm reading and learning more for my self and to share with others. so never say you are un-educated we all are in some way for we can't know it all, just study what you like and learn all you can about it. Never feel bad about what you don't know. Theresa \o/

Guest guest
Jeannieh, I was always told when yoou say things like that even aboout your self you were being bad to your self and it is negative. We each have our own thoughts on the same thing, just like on raw food we all take it a little different. Where I grew up I was told to always think well of my self and other, the part of trusting other has lost me so much in the last yrs. It is something I'm still learning.
