Guest guest
Hi Carla, I've accelerated my response to this ahead of some other things, because I think it's important for you to understand what is happening. I don't know how you used to eat, how you eat now, what work you do, what stress(es) you routinely encounter or how you typically respond, etc. So I cannot provide more than a general response. Production of ammonia is an overload or sometimes emergency response by the body. In general, when the body's acid content rises into a sort of " yellow zone " (danger but not a red zone just yet), the body begins to produce ammonia as a hyperalkalizing response. And I realize it's becoming a bit trite here, but you are a candidate, at least for the moment, for a VERY simplified, VERY alkalizing diet ... sweet fruits and greens. That'll clear up the odor, possibly even overnight. Depends what your body is trying to eliminate ... how much, how strong, how concentrated. So hydration (concentration) is a factor, as well. Plenty of water for you!!! Make sense? At first I thought it was some sort of detox, but it hasn't let up. It doesn't matter what I eat or how much or how little water I drink. I tried to google reasons why this would be but I haven't come up with anything. My only guess is that I eat too much fruit. Any ideas? Thanks, Carla
Guest guest
Before going raw, I cant tell you what I didn't eat: soy, gluten, sugar, coffee, processed grains and flours, processed food in general. For the past week, all I've had was sweet fruit and greens and it seem to have gotten worse. I also drink up to 120 oz of water a day. Less on the days I don't run. Guest guest
Oh, I didn't realize, though you may already have shared all this. In that case, " this, too, shall pass " . It's your body, finally able to remove some VERY acidic material that was stored somewhere inside you. Are you in a position to fast comfortably for a few days? Guest guest
Water or juice fast? I get insanely low blood sugar (dizzy, pass out. etc) if I don't have food (even just veggie juice) so it would have to be a juice fast.
