Guest guest
Does anyone have any good recipes for dip? I need to bring snacks to a Memorial Day barbeque, so I'm planning on lots of fresh veggies, and guacamole but I'd like to find something else to dip the veggies in. Preferably something that our carnivorous relatives will like too. My husband and I will be the only vegans there, so I'd like to have something that won't make us seem even more weird than they already think we are! LOL! Thanks! Judy Sick sense of humor? Guest guest
Anna, I don't know about prepared mustard. I used to be a real mustard junky (along with chocolate, fried foods, lasagna--the list goes on and on ad nauseum). I'm sure it's something I still need to stay away from but it would be interesting to find out. Judy, there are recipes for dip and " mayo " on my blog. The address is http://reallyrawfood.com/recipes plus there are some on my forum at http://reallyrawfood.com/forum/index.php?board=6.0 you can read as a non-member. http://reallyrawfood.com/forum/index.php#3 will show you all the recipe areas. As you can see, the optimal recipes are pretty scarce. Anyone who has optimal recipes that follow 80/10/10rv, please join and post them! Have a good, raw day! Guest guest
Prepared mustard is cooked, if you want to have a honey mustarded then I would suggest that you get mustarded seed or mustarded powder and use just a little of that. Do be careful mustarded seed can be very hot on my blog I have a dip/dressing recipe look for the April 19th blog @ www.summerbear.org >
