They are indeed useful, IF:

1. They are fresh. (They do lose efficacy over time.)

2. You measure consistently (time of day, before any food is consumed, etc.)

3. You buy strips that measure in 0.2 increments or smaller, not 0.5.

Best to all,

Elchanan

Hi Elchanan -

are there any brands of strips that you recommend for accuracy?

Hi Drake,

Thanks for asking. Honestly, I haven't bought any since the last millennium.

I only recall the selection criterion being 0.2 vs. 0.5 increments. Sorry I

cannot help more.
