Guest guest
How can we stay away from junk food? Wouldn't it be a million dollar trick if we can do it. It will solve America's number one problem. The junk food that is one of the major reasons for obesity and related diseases. Yes, it is possible. Here's how. When you eat junk food; do kapalbhati just after eating the food to a count 10 or maximum 20? It really works. Be careful not to overdo it. You can end up with upset stomach. Lets start a new trend and call this 'abomination' by its true name and get *that* idea planted into people's minds? It's even true of the packaging! Compare it with nature. Guest guest
Here is what I had to start doing to stop eating sad junk food. Please know, I don't take this lightly, I am a compulsive over eater and a food addict. As such, I have to take the steps an alcoholic does, I can't touch sad food, lest my addiction kick in. The longer I am embracing the raw lifestyle, the easier it becomes. I adopted the " one day at a time " approach to this lifestyle. In a few days, I will have my 30 days (sober)lol.....er..I mean...RAW........lol I began saying to myself everytime I was tempted " This is poison to me " . I can not, I will not keep it in my home, I will not put it in my mouth. As a normal functioning adult, I will not eat poison, therefore, if I remind myself that " this is poison to me " I will loose my craving and temptation for such items. I remember that many foods are " produced " in chemical labs...gmo foods. Those, imho, are not foods. I remind myself that a lab can make a patch of grass taste like a " delicacy " . We are what we eat. Are we not worthy of feeding ourselves the best there is? Do we not care enough or respect our bodies enough to give it the best and most pure food that exists? It comes down to the point that one has to become sick and tired of being sick and tired, which is where I got when I decided, ENOUGH. Regards, Jeannie your time is the most cherished gift of all, tomorrow is promised to no one. neal <kneel.pardoe rawfood Friday, June 1, 2007 9:10:23 AM Re: [Raw Food] How can we stay away from junk food? Guest guest
im there with you...i can go raw for periods of time easier if i say nnnooooo junk than some..if i have some..i want all! and i cheat...boy do i cheat...particularly when pms......thats when i want greasy, salty, meat and french fries.all of that... im gonna adopt your attitude to it though..having just left a marriage with an alcoholic i should already recognize the need for zero tolerance and deal with it as such. thx for the idea... anna On 6/1/07, jeannieh h <jeannieh99 wrote: > Here is what I had to start doing to stop eating sad junk food.
