Guest guest
Hi Belinda and all, Rather than take other people's word for it, anyone who wishes can create his/her own experiment/experience to learn how your system responds to garlic, onion, and pretty much any other item whose food value you question. Try this: 1. Eat zero of the item in question for 60 days. 2. On the 61st day, eat a portion (any amount you like or can stand) of that item, by itself, as your first food of the day. (Plain water beforehand is fine.) 3. Wait several hours and observe your system's response. (And, sometimes it won't take NEARLY that long! :) Best to all, Elchanan _____ rawfood [rawfood ] On Behalf Of Belinda Friday, June 01, 2007 3:24 AM rawfood Re: [Raw Food] MB and garlic Wow did not know that garlic was a poison. However I did know about it's healing properties for some ailments. (was really into natural healing in the past) Perhaps it is best used only for that. And it is the same for onions? I love both as food flavorings and at one time loved eating raw onions. But for several years now, raw onions just do not set well with me, so have stopped eating them except for flavoring of some cooked dishes, such as soup. (I still eat one meal a day containing cooked food) Belinda in TN

Guest guest
Wow, guess I've never eaten enough to experience anything like that (in the days when I ate and loved garlic). Amazing!
