Guest guest
Hi everyone, I wrote off to Doug Graham regarding this question, here is his reply: ______ Acetone is the smell of nail polish. It is alcohol-like in its make-up. Fruit that goes off often smells like acetone. I can imagine strawberries that smell/taste like that. But you may also be correct that she has just had " enough " strawberries. D ______ Best to all, Elchanan

Guest guest
Hi, I tried having others in the house taste my strawberries, they all said they tasted ok to them. (They all probably eat a handful a year at best) I am going to buy a small package from another store tomorrow just to see if they are better. Who knows, I may have just eaten so many that my body needs a break. I'm sure I can find something just as yummy. There are lots of choices with this way of eating. Thanks to all who have responded. Guest guest
Hi Laura, Who knows, I may have just eaten so many that my body needs a break. This could very well be the case. In the presence of satiation, our body changes its response to any food, from one of pleasure to one of something less pleasant. That is how satiation is signaled ... in the mouth and sometimes the nose.
