....im pms right now...bad bad week for me for food...but i actually, even

though i

had eaten some cooked food for lunch.....i actually CRAVED a raw green

smoothie

at the end of the day...

seriously...this is a huge thing for me...ive been mostly raw for 3 weeks, -

till the

dreaded hormonal chaos - and dont they say it takes 3 weeks to develop a new

habit???

damn if i dont think i created a habit! i actually MISSED it,,,,the feeling

of " overfull "

that i had on the way home was awful..the cooked food hangover i guess....i

was

WISHING i had eaten raw so i could feel that LIGHT AND AIRY JUICY feeling...

im having watermelon for dinner and i think ill have it for breakfast,

bananas for

lunch and watermelon for dinner tomorrow and the next day....with a green

smoothie if i need it....

im not liking this cooked food thing just for pms week....its not agreeing

with me

at aaaaallll.

thx!

it may seem silly to some...but when your preferences actually change

so that youre wanting raw instead of just forcing yourself....this to

me is a veeery big thing....cuz then its second nature and youre not

so tempted. Its a huge load off..

ive heard we get there at some point..for me to be there during my

pms week is amazing..cuz im usually a vacuum cleaner at this point..

anyways...growth comes in spurts...one lump at a time.... Its odd cuz

i can go 100% for a while..periodically..or a month or two..but not

feel the craving for raw food...its usually the opposite...

so im pretty stoked...

had my wawamelon today...bananas waiting for lunch....feelin

good..very little bloat...<heavy sigh of relief>..

life is good again.

Not silly at all. I think I'm getting close to that.... I find that I am

mentally there. It's just that like the other day, I wish I could have just

taken the grilled chicken off of that greek salad I had. I was upset that it was

on my salad to begin with.

I got very upset with myself for " caving " and eating the grilled chicken. I

" SHOULD " have been able to easily just toss the chicken off. Worst part of all

is that I ENJOYED the chicken.. which added to my anger and guilt.

P.S. I had to chuckle at your vaccuum cleaner comment. I always tell people I

have the will power of a sponge...lol

oh im terrible when out of control with pms! Scary bad!

but im better this time around..much better..

as for chicken...i allow myself meat every few days...it keeps my

sugar stable among other things...so i wouldnt have had an issue with

the salad...as a matter of fact i had a chicken greek salad for lunch

this week on purpose..sometimes having meat will keep me from having

something worse..like bread or fried crap...

and since small amounts of meat are consumed by the okinawans, the

longest living people on the planet...i have no guilt....i have it as

lean as possible tho..like they do..

Anna,

No,no....I hear ya.

I really think you are on to something here. I mean, fanaticism in any realm is

not a good thing. I am striving for 100% raw. I have been up until the " chicken

incident " , lol You are right, it dose not warrant my beating myself up about

it.

I just picked myself off and dusted myself off and I'm back on track.

I just needed to hear a level headed perspective about it.

Thanks gf,

Jeannie
