Guest guest
I'm not sure how much help I can offer with maintaining. I've lost 35 lbs and am still losing(only 15 lbs away from ideal weight). As long as you are eating as much as your body wants, and you are at a healthy weight, then you should maintain easily. If there is some fat left, you may continue to lose (as I am). I wouldn't allow yourself to stress unless you are gaining, then I'd rethink what you are consuming. ~Sarah --- Lesa <ljbn wrote: > Hmmm re-thinking -- perhaps what I'm dealing with is > MAINTANENCE after > a significant change in the size of my body? > > Lesa > > ______________________________\ ____ Park yourself in front of a world of choices in alternative vehicles. Guest guest
Hi Lesa. I would eat as many calories as possible on a raw food diet if I was getting very skinny, but I don't have that problem now...not totally raw yet. So you do feel full on few calories? Lesa <ljbn wrote: Hmmm re-thinking -- perhaps what I'm dealing with is MAINTANENCE after a significant change in the size of my body? Lesa Pinpoint customers who are looking for what you sell. Guest guest
Jerri, I'm feeling full - sometimes, in fact most times, I am also aware that I'm getting full on 600 calories or so. I just don't want the bananas that I used to use to keep my calories up, guess I may be switching to dates - tho dates used to be dangerous for me they are like candy and I just keep eating them. I find that I gain weight if I get too close to 2000 calories per day or if I eat fatty foods (avoc, seeds etc etc...)more than 1 day a week. I realize now that I am probly just getting nervous. I would have thought that my weight change would have stopped at 145#s and I'm down to 138/140 and to my untrained eyes that have lived w/a 270+# body for most of my adult life, the current weight seems low. I am willing to let the universe/my body do what it needs to do - I am not used to these numbers/sizes and geez I'm already a size 8/10. No one is complaining about me looking like a skeleton. My new skinny jeans/pants are falling off again. A few ppl have commented that I look great and that they hope I have stopped trying to loose - well, basically I have, I don't want to gain tho - and it seems important for me to keep my calories around 14-1500 day to stay still. 14-1500 calories is a lot of tomatoes or cantelopes etc - so I'm trying on dates to see if it helps but I'm feeling like I'm going to have to buy them each day if I can't control the number I eat. This is also getting expensive again - during the colder months I'd buy a case of bananas a few heads of celery and a few other items which got me thru a bit over a week...it's not like that now - $10 here - $15/20 there. Guest guest
oops, missed this one b4 I answered the last post --- I'm 5'7 " tall and I normally walk 45 minutes per day, often (2ce a week) get in 2-3 of those 45 minute walks in a day. I often use an excersize ball as my computer chair although it seems to make my back ache, so I'm using it less lately. Thats all I can think of this time.
