On the nature of symptoms (WAS: Use urine??? (WAS: A painful lesson)

All this is fine and interesting ... and in my opinion irrelevant to the

issue at hand. The issue at hand involves a child's needs now, and in a

larger sense the notion that any sort of treatment is needed or even

beneficial.

 

There is this almost complete disconnect in the mindset of almost everyone,

between the apparent shifting of symptoms and the creation of health. The

two are opposites in almost every circumstance, and the latter is on the

mind of almost no one.

 

Your entire discourse below, while accurate (though one could discuss a

detail here or there), reflects this disconnect in a way. That people who

were in dire straits survived for awhile by consuming their own urine ... or

perhaps in spite of it ... has nothing at all to do with this child's need

now, nor with creating health, as a generality. The people needed water, and

in dire circumstances, ALL organisms find ways to survive that they would

never engage under any normal or even " ordinary " stressful conditions.

 

As for " sterile " , the word has a meaning. What you describe below is real

.... and again, is completely rooted in the medical model of thinking about

disease, viewing symptoms as if they were problems. But the are not ... that

is why they are called " symptoms " .

 

Skin conditions, in general, occur for one of two reasons:

 

1. There is some systemic dehydration.

 

2. There is an overload of foreign matter in the system, such that the skin

is deployed as an overflow avenue for elimination. I've written on all this

in the past, it's just a matter of connecting the dots. The primary normal

avenues of elimination are the digestive system (digestive elimination via

the colon), the urinary system (elimination of metabolic solids and solid

foreign matter), and the respiratory system (elimination of metabolic gases

and gaseous foreign matter, or byproducts). Whenever the body deploys other

avenues of elimination ... skin, eyes, ears, vagina, etc. ... then some sort

of overflow condition exists.

 

The solution to every problem likes in resolving its cause. There is

absolutely nothing one can apply to any skin outbreak that addresses the

cause of the outbreak ... even a case where the cause actually does lie in

the vicinity of the skin. (For example, see my post # 29628.

 

There is a fundamental paradigm shift available to everyone. One one side of

the shift is the predominant mindset, that symptoms and problems are one,

that symptoms require treatment. This mindset is characterized by a lack of

understanding of and/or faith in Nature's design and processes. On the other

side is the uncommon mindset, that symptoms are indeed just symptoms, and

more important, that symptoms ARE the body's innate intelligence at work ...

they ARE the healing process itself. Once we cross over from the first to

the second paradigm, then we cease all attempts at treatment. Instead, we

appreciate every symptom and ask ourselves what message that symptom might

convey to our conscious awareness.

i agree that symptoms are the bodies reaction to an assault. This

true. But they often become the disease to us.

 

however some are very uncomfortable and painful...for a child..they

can be too much to tolerate.

 

im fascinated by the water fast idea....i really want to hear how that works...

several pseudonyms that tend to provide support and backup so it appears

there are several of them in agreement. Or do the opposite and make a few

I didn't say I had a problem, the one you suggest or any other. I posted a

comment about what appears to be someone working with a commercial interest.

i was just sucked into just such a list this week...its stench was

obvious from the beginning.....but followed the trail long enough to

prove it within 48hrs....soooo got out....its still following me

though...just like dog feces on your shoe.....

the point is, that if someone is working with commercial interest, it should

be entirely open and upfront. There are laws to protect consumers from being

led to making purchases under false pretenses, so it's considered a bad

thing.

But if you read what was written, I raised a question (in a very non-subtle

way) about action, not personality. It is not about personality, but actually
