Guest guest
Elchanan, I had the intereesting experience of reading this post before I went to the local market to pick up some bananas. So I made some observations about the customers with the thought of body composition I noted a great people were buying cool whip a non food if there ever was one I've had my days of heavy cream, jersey cream and oh Irish butter but why anyone would ever consume cool whip (knowingly)- I have been at parties where so much food is sabatoged that you just can't eat it. ....yes cool whip to me is one of the worst anyway back to the store- You can actually see the excess water on people and of course fat So many are quite fatigued from carrying the extra load of their dietary choices Thanks forthe post. Guest guest
Belinda, Oh don't get me wrong. I love the real stuff too. I prefer it, However, the compulsive food addict that still lives in me, WILL devour a tub of cool whip in a matter of minutes. You see why I have turned to the raw lifestyle???? To save myself, from myself!! Jeannie your time is the most cherished gift of all, tomorrow is promised to no one. Guest guest
Em, Sorry for my belly??.......You have NO idea the abuse this belly has had to indure...... This alien here will snarf up (just about) anything that passes as food. Even cool whip..... The junkier the better, that is just how messed up I am. I am a food addict. I am a compulsive eater. I do consider it a disease no less dangerous than being an alcoholic or a drug addict. I do not smoke, or drink alcohol. Food is my drug of choice. I know it sounds strange to some and disgusting to many. It is not something I enjoy or am proud of, and it has caused me much pain in all areas of my life. This is why I am here. To learn about the raw lifestyle. To get healthy, to loose weight. I know that I will always be a Food addict. I have to be careful whom I associate with and what situations I put myself in. Every aspect of life is a potential threat to me. This is why I take the AA mantra of " one day at a time " approach to this raw lifestyle...and 3 months later....(almost...on July4th it will be 3 months...YAY!!) I am in constant struggle with this every second of the day.....I am consumed by the thought of food. This group is kind of like my 12 step program.........lol I come here when I feel like eating sad....as you can see by my number of posts...this is alot!! I feel blessed to be here and to be listening and learning from so many of you. I look forward to more people exchanging ideas and thoughts, even the korny ones...........Keep it up!! Jeannie Jeannie your time is the most cherished gift of all, tomorrow is promised to no one.
