Lynne and all,

Go to a store that sells Celtic/sea salt in bulk bins. Should be quite

inexpensive.

-CAroline,

I " m using 1/4 cup of plain table salt. (Sea salt is too

expensive!). And I put 1/4 cup of plain white vinegar into the

conditioner dispenser.

Hope that helps,

Lynne

hmmm maybe I should take that half mile walk down to the Atlantic and

just get a gallon of sea water to wash the clothes in?

It IS cheaper to buy ten salt in bulk

Elchanan,

Thanks for the advice about the 2 separate loads and the sea salt.

I just figured that regular table salt was what everyone was using to

clean the clothes.

I'll look for it in my health food store.

You're welcome. Ordinary table salt is:

1. Heat treated.

2. Dyed (usually).

3. Iodized and who knows what else.

4. Contains an anticaking agent, which is almost always made from dead

animal byproducts. This is why NO packaged products that contain ordinary,

commercial salt are EVER labeled " vegan " .

Best,

Elchanan
