Guest guest
Hi Jeannie, I'm not Em, hope that's okay. Greens are leaves, the living engine of all green plants. Vegetables are storage depots in which some green plants stockpile fuel (usually starch) and related nutrients. How green leaves ever became included in the category called " vegetables " is beyond me. True, both arise from vegetation ... but the commonality ends there. What other category is there? My smoothies don't come out " smooth " What am I doing wrong? Jeannie
Guest guest
Elchanan, I'm sure Em is happy you are not her. LOL I had no idea that greens and vegetables were different. Hmm...Interesting. Well, if the green is attached to the vegetable, I guess that's how it gets lumped into the same category? So how do I get my smoothies to be more smooth? Jeannie your time is the most cherished gift of all, tomorrow is promised to no one. Elchanan <Elchanan rawfood Monday, June 25, 2007 6:10:24 PM [Raw Food] Greens vs. Vegetables ... What Is What? Guest guest
Jeannie, From my perspective, this has to do with the quality of people's observing and thinking, which has to do with whether and how they were taught to observe and to think. To get smoother smoothies, run a more powerful blender for a longer time (either or both).
