Guest guest
Now THAT is a serious testimony. If it will get the smell of cat urine out (is there anything stronger or more potent?) then it should take care of anything. I am trying it. But I don't have access to cheap celtic sea salt. For me it will have to be table salt or rock salt. Oh and do you use white distilled vinegar? Guest guest
The salt and vinegar works great ! I tried it and loved the results, but I have a question. Does it matter what type of vinegar you use? ~Sarah --- Janet FitzGerald <waxplanet wrote: > Hi Jeannie, > > I easily got the smell of cat urine out of several > things using > vinegar and salt. Guest guest
Janet, I did the experiment and was quite pleased. I told a friend of mine to try it (to save on laundry soap) and she said it worked well for her except on a few of her babies clothes there was still a hint of a urine smell. I told her to wash them again. She didn't want to have to wash clothes twice. But for me it worked well, so I will be doing it again. Jeannie your time is the most cherished gift of all, tomorrow is promised to no one. Alternatively she could try an extra rinse either before or after the wash cycle. Hanging the clothes in the sun will help with any staining, and the fresh air should help with the smell too.
