Guest guest
Good comment. I'd say that our sameness is MUCH greater than our uniqueness. And that most of our trouble / conflict in life comes from trying to assert that our uniqueness is greater than our sameness. Look at economic, racial, political, personal conflict. It ALL occurs in the realm of asserting we are UNIQUE and ignoring what we have in common. Or... we are variations on a theme - not themes on a variation! This post had me see my other post on my attraction to the wounded bird type in this context... What happened is that I matured to the point that I mostly saw sameness and attracted someone who also mostly saw sameness. So that when there is a conflict, we can see that the conflict occurs in the realm where we THINK we are unique - and the solution occurs in the realm where we KNOW we are the same. ..wyn The Raw Retreat http://TheRawRetreat.com o) 888.EAT.RAW4LIFE f) 877.236.6999
