Guest guest
I have never tried watercrest except in stil-fry. This is giving me all sorts of ideas. It is nice to see out of the box! Thanks to everyone talking about ways to use watercrest. Katie isis <isisdarkshade wrote: Please do give it a try. It's very tasty on sandwiches, in salads and I believe the files have a watercress soup recipe. I like it chopped into my hummus. Isis ________ Fussy? Opinionated? Impossible to please? Perfect. Guest guest
I used to think it was large cilantro, not as ruffled on the edges though. It's great on sandwiches and salads. Has a very slight peppery taste. My favorite way to eat it is to place on a sandwich with sliced cucumbers and mayo. Guest guest
Hi, I know that V8 has a lot of salt. I don't drink that stuff becayse its nasty. They have a low salt version and if you taste it it is just horrible stuff. Parsley in large amounts is a diuretic-so it becomes adrug in large amounts. Same probbly for alot of other things-such as dandelion greens I wouldn't put watercress in a smoothie ESp after Anna's post!:-) But I wouldn't have before either-I like a bit in salads I have made a soup with it I will eat it in ssalads Emrawfood , " fountayn2003 " <fountayn wrote: > > Erin and Em, > > > In Victoria's book (The Health Seeker's Book), she speaks about the V- > 8 juice that you buy in the supermarket and how unhealthy it is. Guest guest
I agree V-8 is awful. I have never eaten watercress and I don't much like parsley.
