Guest guest
Em, Regarding fillers, the stuff has to be held together with something, whether listed or not. Fillers are not generally listed as ingredients. Your perception of " good " clearly differs from mine. " Does no harm " is subjective, short-term, and meaningless, from my perspective. Anything that diminishes my vitality does me harm ... and I realize that is a matter of perception, a judgment, etc. Four weeks, not sure what you have planned for yourself ... but for most people, 4 weeks is not long enough to gain experience with any long-term way of eating or living. Unless you're talking about the garbage in the manistream yogurts such as Dannon & yoplait but I have bought Erivan & seven stars Erivan is esp. good-non homgenized & doesn't say anything about pasturization I have not had any ill effects from that or other fermented products such as kombucha tea or kimchi but as for now I will not be using them as I plan to eat 100% raw for at least 4 weeks Thanks for your poast- Emrawfood , " Elchanan " <Elchanan wrote: ______ Hi Em, As I understand this topic, the purpose of probiotics is to reintroduce to our digestive tract certain flora that we have damaged. But the probiotic material itself is an inert object, so I don't see how this might occur. More important, though, as we create health, those organisms that live within us and that are supposed to flourish within us will do so, and the other organisms will cease to flourish. So while I see no great harm in probiotics (other than the usual fillers and so forth that require energy and other resources to eliminate), I see no particular benefit, either. Guest guest
I think it could be a great start, though. A glimpse into what might be. I did a month raw and it gave me a good idea of how clear-headed I can feel, how quickly I can release weight, and also gave me more insight to help me on my path.
