Guest guest
I've been keeping track of what I'm eating on Nutridiary for about a week now, and I have noticed that my diet is really high in fat! I am eating mostly raw, but even with tons of fruits and vegetables, I think I am eating too many nuts and other fatty foods! This can't be good, can it? I've also noticed that my Iron intake is below 50% of the recommended amount....do I need to adjust my diet b/c of this? What modifications should I be making? I'm not anemic- never have been- but I'm worried about it right now b/c there is a chance I am pregnant (won't know for another 10 days...) and I know pregnant women are supposed to make sure they are getting enough iron. Speaking of pregnancy.....raw cheeses aren't recommended, are they? Thx, Kerri
Guest guest
Hi Kerri, This seems to be very common. So many of the recipes which try to imitate cooked foods are really high-fat. Have you read Doug Graham's book, " The 80/10/10 Diet? " If not, I think you'd really like it. It explains all about the problems with fat. Can't really help with your other questions... I've just finished reading " grain damage " , and am looking forward to reading the 80-10-10 book tomorrow. Caron

Guest guest
Listen to your body, if you are doing great on raw, then you may be doing fine. Some think it may be too much fat, but especially pregnant, don't listen to anyone but you. And no, raw cheeses are very unhealthy (from animals). Ever. 8:00? 8:25? 8:40?
