Guest guest
Now that everyone in Canada and the US has had their Thanksgiving, I'm wondering what everyone had for dinner. I had: * Brown rice with nuts (almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds) and raisins * Orange roasted asparagus * Steamed baby carrots * Bryanna's cranberry sauce * Mashed potatoes * Punk Rock Chickpea Gravy (from Vegan with a Vengeance) You can see some pictures and links to recipes on my blog: http://eatreadbemerry.vox.com/library/post/happy-belated-thanksgiving-canada.htm\ l

Thank you so much to this group for helping me figure out all the gluten stuff I should not be eating It was just the 2 of us, so we are still eating leftovers. Guest guest
Did anyone notice that one of the new characters on ER (one of the surgeons) is a vegan. He brought tofurkey to the thanksgiving dinner and while the spot lasted all of about 5 seconds, one of the other doctors asked him he was really a vegan and he said " I believe a surgeon should NEVER eat meat. " and followed that with something like " bad for the brain or clogs up the brain " . I thought that was cool as long as they don't make him into a mockery.
