Now that everyone in Canada and the US has had their Thanksgiving, I'm

wondering what everyone had for dinner.

I had:

* Brown rice with nuts (almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds) and raisins

* Orange roasted asparagus

* Steamed baby carrots

* Bryanna's cranberry sauce

* Mashed potatoes

* Punk Rock Chickpea Gravy (from Vegan with a Vengeance)

You can see some pictures and links to recipes on my blog:

For Thaksgiving dinner, we had:

Tofu Turkey roast (from the files)

" Meatlike " gravy(from the files)

Mashed sweet potatoes w/ craisins thrown in (files)

Steamed broccoli w/melted tofu " cheese "

Salad (mine had liquid aminos instead of dessing)

Cranberry Sauce (Hubby, not me)

Tofu pumkin Pie w/rice flour crust. (crust from files)

My husband liked it so much that he had 2 helpings and 3 pieces of pie! This is

the first year I have not felt sick after a holiday meal. Thank you so much to

this group for helping me figure out all the gluten stuff I should not be eating

It was just the 2 of us, so we are still eating leftovers.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

Did anyone notice that one of the new characters on ER (one of the surgeons)

is a vegan. He brought tofurkey to the thanksgiving dinner and while the

spot lasted all of about 5 seconds, one of the other doctors asked him he

was really a vegan and he said " I believe a surgeon should NEVER eat meat. "

and followed that with something like " bad for the brain or clogs up the

brain " . I thought that was cool as long as they don't make him into a

mockery.

Erin,

Thanks for posting a link to your blog. I am loving all of the recipes

and I think that I am going to make the mini mexican pizzas tonight.
