Guest guest
Hello all! I'm still struggling coming up with protein-based vegan breakfast ideas. Because of blood sugar issues, I need a higher protein to get me off on the right foot for the day. Any websites or thoughts? Thanks! Guest guest
Hi Jent, I made a lovely vegetable soup with rice and beans in it late last night and when I woke up in the morning it seemed like a good thing to have for breakfast. I've never had soup for breakfast before, but I know it's common in Japan. It was a heartening choice! I had to tweak my thinking a little, as we're conditioned to think of certain foods as appropriate or inappropriate for different times of the day. Guest guest
Somewhere I read that a good way to have a high-protein breakfast is to eat lunch for breakfast and have the lighter, lower-protein meal at lunchtime.
