Guest guest
I've never had a reaction from the Deland Bakery bread, but I am today. I think I had the millet flats once earlier in the year and I haven't had any bread products since. I've been throwing up so much lately that I thought some toast would be nice. Dh went and bought 2 loaves of the bread, a pack of bagels, and 2 packs of millet flats. I had 2 pieces of toast yesterday for breakfast and was fine. I threw up all evening, but it's from the pregnancy, not the bread. I was so hungry when I woke up that I had 2 pieces of toast and now I am hurting and having " gastrointestinal issues " . I just spoke with the midwife (who is also a naturopath and knows about celiac) and she thinks that since I've been throwing up for months that everything is just really sensitive and needs to be babied. I wish I would have asked her " how " to baby it? LOL I see her again in a week so I will have to ask her then. Guess I better learn how to make bread products because I will not buy it ever again. *sobs* Shannon
Guest guest
What part of the world are you in? There are many, many reliable breads that you can eat. I personally have the same issues, total intolerance to just about everything I put in my mouth. I find that Whole Foods Market has a very good variety of totally GF breads. Whole Foods is spreading out everywhere. Sometimes inconvenient to find, but the best variety I've found. I'm in Toronto and we only have one here so when I can't buy from them, I buy from our local Dominion store. , " mrsalf97 " <shannontalford wrote: > > I've never had a reaction from the Deland Bakery bread, but I am > today. Guest guest
Oh Shannon, I am so sory that you are feeling so unwell with this pregnancy. That is terrible. I wish I lived closer to you so I could come and bring you some home-made bread. How far are you along right now? hugs Samantha (Shanka from AW) Mama to 5 blessings
