Guest guest
does anyone else have trouble copying recipes out of the emails and onto a word document? i realizet that many of them are in the files, but sometimes i just want to copy something (even just good advice) and paste it into my own word docs. everytime i do, though, nothing happens and then my word freeze up. and now, just so i'm sharing back, my current favorite recipe! pumpkin spice smoothie (serves 2) ½ cup canned pumpkin 3 tbls maple syrup 1 tsp vanilla extract ½ tsp ground cinnamon ¼ tsp freshly grated nutmeg ¼ tsp ground allspice (i used a pinch of ground clove) 2 cups almond milk, soy milk, etc. put in blender and froth up! It's the new format. You can go to your settings on the Vegan and Gluten Free web page and change your options to " Traditional " and it will work like it did before. Or, you can forward the email that you want to save to yourself, then go to Format and select 'plain text'. Then you can copy and paste from there without problems. Hope this helps! Guest guest
MINE TOO! What is the deal with the cutting and pasting thing? If anyone knows I would appreciate it too... Takes too darn long to type them all! --- plasticbubblegirl <a_sirk wrote: > does anyone else have trouble copying recipes out of > the emails and > onto a word document? > > i realizet that many of them are in the files, but > sometimes i just > want to copy something (even just good advice) and > paste it into my > own word docs. > > everytime i do, though, nothing happens and then my > word freeze up. > > and now, just so i'm sharing back, my current > favorite recipe! > > pumpkin spice smoothie > > (serves 2) > > ½ cup canned pumpkin > 3 tbls maple syrup > 1 tsp vanilla extract > ½ tsp ground cinnamon > ¼ tsp freshly grated nutmeg > ¼ tsp ground allspice (i used a pinch of ground > clove) > 2 cups almond milk, soy milk, etc. > > > put in blender and froth up! > > ______________________________\ ____ Music Unlimited Access over 1 million songs. http://music./unlimited

Guest guest
Just highlight the text that you want, right click on the highlighted section, open a new Word document and right click on the document, click 'paste' and then wait until it pastes it into the document. It may take a while but don't touch anything, just wait! If you do touch it while it's pasting it, it usually will 'freeze'. Let me know how it works for you! , Lara Ellis <Larellis wrote: > > MINE TOO! What is the deal with the cutting and > pasting thing? If anyone knows I would appreciate it > too... Guest guest
It's often due to people sending their email as RTF or HTML, instead of plain text. Cut and paste into notepad first, then from there to word. That strips out all the hidden links and code that you cannot see in the original email (which is what is choking Word). You can also get a program called " emailstripper " (free) that does the same, plus strips out all the extra hard carraige returns, resulting in better formatting once in the program of your choice (word or a recipe box). > > MINE TOO! Guest guest
Instead of waiting for the regular paste, highlight the text you want to copy in the email, open a new Word document and click on edit. Then you can click on " special paste " then click on unformatted text instead of HTML. It will paste right away with no problems! It's wonderful and Word doesn't crash anymore. Guest guest
I was having problems saving info from here too. The way I get around it is to click the actual subject of the post, & it takes you back to the original post. You can then cut and paste. I'm gonna try the other's suggestions to see if they're faster. deb
