Guest guest Posted January 21, 2007 Report Share Posted January 21, 2007 Tofu Vegetable Shish Kabob Source: 3ABN 1 pack extra-firm tofu 1 c. red pepper, cut into large cubes 1 c. yellow pepper, cut into large cubes 1 c. vegetable of your choice, in bite-sized pieces 1 large red onion, cut into large cubes 2 Tbsp. Bragg's Aminos or 1 Tbsp. seasoned salt 1 tsp. thyme 1 Tbsp. all-purpose herb seasoning 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. paprika 1 tsp. cayenne pepper 1 pack Shish Kabob skewers 1. Slice tofu into square or rectangular shapes and fry or bake until medium-crispy. Sprinkle Bragg's aminos or seasoned salt over the fried or baked tofu. Cut tofu into cubes. 2. Combine vegetables and remaining seasonings, mix and set aside for a few minutes to marinate. 3. Arrange tofu and vegetables on shish kabob skewers as desired. 4. Bake shish kabob on a baking tray in 350 degree oven for 15 - 20 minutes, or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Serve with your favorite gravy over rice or savory potatoes.
