Guest guest
I will be traveling out of state in less than two weeks. I need to carry lunch and snack items with me that will fit with my food allergy restrictions. (no gluten, no dairy, no egg, no citrus, no eggs, mostly vegetarian). I'm writing out my grocery list for the trip (I'm taking most of my food with me) so if you can offer some solutions in the next couple of days, that would be very helpful. Does anyone have some good ideas that I could make in advance and carry with me? I will have an insulated bag and an ice chest with me. Thanks, CeCe
Guest guest
How about some chickpea crunchies? Toss cooked chickpeas with spices and olive oil and roast at 325 until they're crunchy. You can use them as snack, throw them on a salad in a restaurant. Guest guest
That's a great idea. And if soy is not an issue, and time is limited, you could purchase soynuts, which is basically the same concept only with soy beans. It's one of my typical travel staples. I like that I can get a quick shot of protein. -Erin www.zenpawn.com/vegblog , " Laurie Bilyeu " <lauriebilyeu wrote: > > How about some chickpea crunchies?
