Guest guest
I just tried Galaxy Nutritional Foods new " smooth melt " soy free, gluten free vegan Rice slices and I must say that they are pretty good. I've tried thier soy cheese in the past and they were... gag, make me want to barf!!. But, since my local grocery store has been out (for several weeks now, grrr) of my usual purchase of Follow Your Heart's Vegan Gourmet soy cheese (which is still #1 in my opinion); I decided to try this new product, it's new to my store anyway. First bite, on it's own, not bad, maybe a little weird, but no awful after taste like I remember there being before. It was actually good in a sandwich. Any way, I just wanted to let everyone know, in case you've tried it before and had the same " make me wanna hurl " response that I had. You might like it now. I think I'll try it on some pizza tonight and see if it actually melts. Robin.
Guest guest
I thought their product contained casein. Have they changed the formula? Guest guest
Galaxy foods now has 2 vegan cheese alternative products. One is soy based and one is rice based. Both are casein free. I have tried the soy based one. It is pretty good. The rice one is fairly new. have not tried that one yet. Here is the link (bottom row, the two on the right): http://www.galaxyfoods.com/ Danielle This email address is private. Please do not share. For bulk mailings, please do not include this address. Guest guest
Thanks YGG, that's what I thought. We had tried the old formulation but saw it had casein. He prefers Lizanetti's almond cheese (not vegan, contains casein), but the Galaxy will do in a pinch. ygg (it's a word, not an acronym)

Guest guest
>>>I keep getting this email! Is there anyway to stop it from posting over and over? Sharon, are you receiving this email exactly? Or just the same subject heading? The subject line is staying the same --- but others are joining into the conversation. I haven't received any duplicate copies. I wonder if you are having a problem with your ISP? Let me know and I'll see what we can do to help. ~ LaDonna ~
Guest guest
Also make sure that you are scrolling all the way down to the end of the message. Sometimes it looks like from the beginning that it is a repeat, but people are writing their post after the person before them, so it shows up further down in the email. Guest guest
FYI: for those who don't have gmail, it will keep the whole " conversation " together. that way it won't look like you have a repeating message. it just shows up as one and you scroll down... marie =) On 3/8/07, daslm_9_2004 <daslm_9_2004 wrote: > > Also make sure that you are scrolling all the way down to the end of > the message. Guest guest
We are eating the VEGAN RICE cheese due to gluten/casein/soy allergies. it is okay melted and mixed into food. my toddler son will eat it out of the package but I think it tastes gross not cooked. When we contacted galaxy regarding this cheese they sent us coupons!
