Guest guest Posted May 19, 2007 Report Share Posted May 19, 2007 Arroz Frito (Fried Rice) (Spain) 8 oz (225 g) rice 2 oz (55 g) vegan margarine -OR- olive oil 1 onion 1 (English) pint (19 fl oz) (568 ml) boiling water Fry the chopped onion till tender, but do not let it turn brown. Add the rice and fry, shaking well so it does not catch. When the rice has absorbed the fat add 1 pint boiling water. Season and simmer slowly for 20 minutes.
