>>>do you really pressure cook these for 10 hours???

So sorry! It was late last night when I typed this up! It says " 1 hour and

15 minutes " in the book. Thank you for pointing this out. I personally

think that 1 hour and 15 minutes is a long time also. . .

Yes, it is!

The book means pressure cook. . .THEN. . .cook for 8 hours in a crockpot. .

..OR. . .6 hours in a 350 degree oven.

All those times seem LONG to me, but they wouldn't hurt the product. . .but

may be unnecessary as far as completely cooking the beans.

Thanks for the note!

Baked Beans

3 C. dry Great Northern beans or white Navy beans

2 C. tomato sauce

1 1/2 tsp. salt

1 1/2 Tb. onion powder

3 Tb. oil

1/4 C. brown sugar

1 1/2 Tb. molasses

1 1/2 tsp. celery salt

1/4 tsp. cardamom

1. COOK and drain beans according to directions.

2. MIX remaining ingredients with cooked and drained beans.

3. POUR into baking dish. Heat well.

Note: May also make this recipe in a crock-pot. Cook beans overnight until

tender. Add remaining ingredients and simmer.
