Guest guest Posted February 9, 2008 Report Share Posted February 9, 2008 Mulberry Iced Tea A cool refreshing summer drink 2 cups mulberries half a lemon 1 cup sugar 1 cup water 4 tea bags ice 1. Wash mulberries and zest half a lemon. 2. Add mulberries and zest to a medium-sized saucepan and sprinkle with sugar. Add lemon juice and water to the pan and stir the mixture until it boils. 3. Remove from the heat, stir and mush up the mixture. 4. Return to heat and bring to a gentle simmer for 2 minutes. 5. Remove from heat and strain through a fine sieve into a heat-prof jug. Place in refrigerator until chilled. 6. Make a pot of tea with the tea bags. Cool the tea in a bowl of iced water, then place in the refrigerator. 7.
