Both of my daughter's are throwing up after drinking Walmart's organic

soymilk. This only happens at breakfast and both eat something totally

different. They never had issues with Silk or 8th Continent. Has

anyone else had problems such as these?

It is possible that Wal-Mart's soymilk is either A) not gluten-free or B)

not organic. Which there are quite a few reports on Wal-Mart mislabeling

their non-organic products as organics (you can look up Cornicopia Institute

online). I won't even touch Trader Joes organic soymilk, because they can't

verify it being GF (and I have a high opinion of TJ's).

Although name brand products cost a little more, I think it's worth it in

the end to stick with brands like Pacific or Silk...

I'm not sure if this is for sure the problem but the carageenan they put in

soy milk has been observed to be a stomach irritant. My daughter kept

waking up in the night complaining of stomach aches and my husband too. We

narrowed it down to the carrageenan in the soy milk. We now buy only brands

that don't contain that stuff and no more stomach aches. My doctor first

told me about carrageenan and it being a stomach irritant and I didn't

really believe it but later found out he was right. It does seem to be dose

related so perhaps there is just more of that ingrediant in the Walmart

brand?

I would try switching to a brand such as west soy (unsweetened, vanilla) or

vita soy.

Good luck!
