Flaky Almond-Oat Pie Crust

Source: Natural Lifestyle and Your Health (adapted)

 

1/4 cup almond butter

1/4 cup oats (gf)

1/4 cup. flour of choice

3 Tbsp. almond meal

1/8 tsp. salt

1 1/2 Tbsp. water

1/4 tsp. almond extract

 

Mix dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Add nut butter, and

work through the dry ingredients until evenly distributed. Add water

and almond extract. Mix lightly with a fork. Press mixture into pie

plate and bake at 350 degrees F. for about 15 minutes. Makes one

crust. Good with lemon and cherry pies.
