That doesn't sound like the French dressing i am used to. Sounds sort of like Russian dressing though. Guest guest Posted April 14, 2008 Report Share Posted April 14, 2008 French Dressing Source: Natural Lifestyle and Your Health 1/2 cup water 2 T. orange juice 3 T. apple juice concentrate 4 T. lemon juice 1 1/2 T. tomato puree 1/2 t. salad herbs 3/8 t. dill weed 1 t. onion salt 3/4 t. garlic salt 1/2 t. paprika 1 1/2 t. corn starch (corn flour) Combine all ingredients except corn starch. Mix corn starch into 1/2 T. water and add to mixture. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Chill. A delightful but intense flavor for use on unseasoned vegetable salads.
